I, along with Jaci Grote and Peggi Balboni have been riding our bicycles and walking through neighborhoods in Greenland and Rye meeting with voters about the upcoming election. We’ve met hundreds of people already and will continue to do so right up until the election in November. Look for us in your neighborhood and we’ll have a chat.
The voters we’ve talked to are concerned about the loss of civility in our political and governmental discourse so we talk about how to change that and make sure our state government is responsive and providing the services we need.
Many specific issues come up during our visits, with quality public education, the environment and affordable and accessible health care topping the list.
