New Futures is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that advocates, educates and collaborates to improve the health and wellness of all New Hampshire residents through policy change and harnessing the hard work of large coalitions to ensure the education of lawmakers and the public.
I supported each of the three New Futures priorities by voting for the passage of Medicaid Expansion Reauthorization and voting against the legalization of marijuana. I also supported a third bill to require blood testing for lead poisoning for 1- and 2-year-olds, lowering the action level for required intervention, and ensuring that landlords and parents are informed when a child is found to be exposed to lead.
