Greenland Gets a Seat on the PDA Board

In 2021 Greenland will take its place on the Pease Development Authority (PDA) Board. We’ve seen how the tremendous business growth at Pease has affected the Seacoast and Greenland is grateful that it will be included in the discussion regarding future growth. With the support of the Greenland Selectboard, your state representatives in Concord sponsored and passed legislation in 2019 that created a space on the board, that will be shared with a representative from Newington. The Greenland Selectboard will develop criteria for the Greenland appointment.

As co-sponsor and organizer of the public testimony I want to thank prime sponsor Rep. Tamara Le for her leadership on this significant accomplishment. Senators Martha Fuller Clark and Tom Sherman were co-sponsors as well and spoke passionately about the importance of this bill.

I want to thank Selectmen Vaughn Morgan and Paul Sanderson, and Chief Laurent for their testimony during the public hearings in the House

This demonstrates how your elected and appointed officials can have a direct and positive affect on local municipalities.
