NOT-SO-CHARITABLE GAMING

Do we want to pass a bill that gives casino operators a free pass to print piles of money for their pockets, while the charities can keep the change?

We can’t emphasize this point enough: our charities are getting CHEATED by historical racing machine legislation.

How can we even consider this charitable gaming when the casino operators are walking away with 75% of the profits?

This isn’t information made up by out-of-state interests, as casino operators and sponsors of this legislation would like you to believe. These are the FACTS of the proposed law, and it’s a reality that is very concerning to many current and former NH legislators and residents.

If casino operators and bill sponsors were so concerned about charities, maybe they would have considered giving charities more than 9% of the profits, and giving themselves less than 75%.

This isn’t Kool-Aid—just a dose of reality. It’s the black and white truth of the legislation you’re voting on.
