Property tax relief and education funding accomplished

This past term saw unprecedented challenges for the state of New Hampshire that the House rose to meet.

The House majority responded to communities across the state were begging for property tax relief and increased assistance from the state. We delivered by providing historic levels of education funding and municipal aid directly to communities. We know that access to affordable healthcare, protecting our environment and water systems, securing and protecting our elections, reducing gun violence and protecting the rights of our workforce are essential to a healthy democracy and society as a whole.

Together, we passed a robust agenda of policies to move New Hampshire forward; many of which were signed into law.

Granite Staters strongly support paid family and medical leave, net metering, independent redistricting, the minimum wage, background checks on gun sales, and many other issues vetoed by the governor. Of the hundreds of bills that were passed, here is a sampling of the areas we addressed.
