Not only was I a co-sponsor of the bill that created this commission, but I serve as a state representative appointee to this study commission.
The Commission was created when HB 484 was passed in 2017 to continue the work of investigating the frequency of Seacoast pediatric cancer cases. The work continues to this day with Commission meetings scheduled quarterly in Concord.
The purpose is to investigate the relationship between pediatric cancer and emerging contaminants found in groundwater and recommend legislation to deal with the findings.
